A beautiful gift set produced in 1962-63 which survived quite well its sixty years of existence. The set contains the following trucks:
1- #5 Routemaster Bus with complete ‘BP Visco-Static’ transfers on both sides. Grey plastic wheels. Virtually mint.
2- #10 Foden 8 -Wheel Sugar Container ‘Tate & Lyle’ . Black plastic wheels. Virtually mint.
3- #20 ERF Truck ‘EVER READY’. Black plastic wheels. Virtually mint.
4- #37 Coca-Cola Karrier Bantam Lorry. Grey plastic wheels. Virtually mint.
5- #46 ‘PICKFORDS’ Removal Van. Grey plastic wheels. Virtually mint.
6- #47 Trojan Van ‘BROOKE BOND TEA’, with grey plastic wheels. Virtually mint.
7- #51 ‘BLUE CIRCLE PORTLAND CEMENT’ Lorry. Grey plastic wheels. Very near mint. Couple of very small chips on one side of the vehicule.
8- #69 Commer Van ’NESTLÉ’S’. Grey plastic wheels. Very near mint. Sliding door perfectly intact.
The vehicles are really in incredible condition. The original box is complete and pretty clean. The printed sleeve has a few tears on the left side but no tape or hand writing other than the original sale price ($1.69) written on the white part of the sleeve. The tray is very clean.
